Know what keeps
your home running.
StandbyScout helps homeowners understand standby generators before committing to a purchase and installation.
What we do
Start with the equipment you want to power, compare fuel-specific output and model features, and follow original sources and external reviews. We aim to make package differences and unanswered questions visible.
Who operates this site
StandbyScout is operated by Plexus Networks, LLC. StandbyScout is the consumer-facing website; Plexus Networks, LLC is its operator.
How we evaluate information
Our catalog is a limited, dated research collection. We distinguish manufacturer specifications, our calculations, publisher reviews, and owner feedback. We have not physically tested the catalog generators or verified installers. Inclusion is not an endorsement.
